HOPR published a proposal this week on the Gnosis Forum outlining the vision of GnosisVPN, a truly private and decentralized VPN on top of the HOPR mixnet! HOPR is a decentralized and incentivized peer-to-peer mixnet open to anyone who wants to join and run a node. Following the vision of Gnosis 3.0, HOPR is stepping up alongside successful projects such as Safe, CowSwap and karpatkey with a new product for the Gnosis ecosystem.
The initiative seeks support through a multi-year investment from the GnosisDAO. To strengthen Gnosis’ positioning as a leader in resilient web3 infrastructure, GnosisDAO would invest into HOPR to build GnosisVPN. The proposal is live on the Gnosis Forum. Please check it out!

Gnosis Chain crossed 200 million transactions onchain last week, representing a 60% growth year-on-year. We continue to push peer-to-peer payments and open financial rails towards consumer adoption, in line with Satoshi’s grand vision.
We also crossed 200,000 validators as the second-largest global blockchain validator community at the start of March. Onwards!

In February, we announced that Project Shutter deployed contracts and activated a Keyper network for the Shutterized Gnosis Chain on the Gnosis Chain testnet Chiado. The team along with Gnosis core devs are currently in development on the Shutterized Gnosis Chain for mainnet. Stay tuned!
