While Total Value Locked (TVL) is only one metric to track the growth of a blockchain network, it's a very useful one. Especially for decentralized finance (DeFi), it's as a measurement of the total value of assets locked or staked within a network. It provides an indication of the overall economic activity and user participation on Gnosis. Due in large part to Aave's deployment on Gnosis Chain and Maker's Spark, two money market protocol's that launched after the Gnosis Pay announcement this year, the DeFi ecosystem on Gnosis has experienced significant growth.

This week's update is a testament to the fact that DeFi is only one piece of the equation, however, for understanding the sustained growth of Gnosis' TVL. Let's jump into it!

 💳 Gnosis Pay

This week Gnosis Pay laid out how their partnerships support the decentralized payment network that they've built. From Monerium's EURe to Fractal ID and the idOS Network, learn how it all fits together in their informative Twitter thread.

🔐 Safe + Web3Auth = SafeAuth

Safe has partnered with Web3Auth, a leading Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) provider, to take account abstraction to the next level through SafeAuth.

The latest addition to the Safe{Core} AA SDK, SafeAuth will enable Smart Accounts to become truly portable between dApps through one easy and convenient social login.

🌉 Hashi on Mainnet

Huge congrats to the Hashi team! The Hash Oracle Aggregator, Hashi, is now live on Mainnet, marking a significant advancement in their ongoing efforts to enhance cross-chain interoperability and security. 

🪢 Bungee Exchange x Gnosis Chain

Bungee aggregates all your favorite bridges and gets you the cheapest and fastest routes to jump across chains. This week Bungee announced that they integrated Gnosis Chain's xDai native bridge!

📂 Fileverse & Crosschain Identity w/ Gnosis Chain

Fileverse is at the forefront of redefining how files function and flourish on the blockchain. Tailored for forward-thinking businesses and individual pioneers, it offers a suite of tools tailored for everyday collaboration, file sharing/storage, and productivity needs. Genome is spearheading the development of the GNO Domain Name Service on Gnosis. It’s the first standard name system designed to seamlessly integrate digital identities to Gnosis Chain. Fileverse recently announced their fileverse.gno domain!

⚖️ Kleros Curation Courts on Gnosis Chain

Kleros is a decentralized arbitration protocol for disputes in the web3 economy. This week they published a thread on how cases are decided onchain, specifically cases 160-181 on Gnosis Chain! Learn more about why Kleros is so important for arbitration in web3!

🏬 Blockscout Marketplace DAppscout

The Blockscout team launched their DApp marketplace on Gnosis Chain, a marketplace where crypto apps and block explorers unite! Blockscout, know for their block explorer, is optimized for next-level blockchain exploration. Multichain, highly configurable, and open source, their explorer portal opens up access to all chain data and functionality.

The updated Gnosis bridge explorer is now live! The update addressed a host of bugs, added a connect wallet and claim functionality, and enhanced the overall UX. Thanks to the Bootnode team, the bridge explorer is better than ever!
