We are pleased to announce that all client updates are ready for the upcoming Shapella hard-fork on Epoch: 648704 Slot: 10379264 Time: August 1, 2023 at 11:34:20 UTC!
Node runners, please schedule time between now and July 30th to update your nodes - it’s critical for ensuring the security of Gnosis Chain and a successful hard-fork! The process can be completed within a few clicks. If you were a node runner durning the Gnosis Chain merge than you’ll be pleased to know that updating your validator for Shapella is a breeze in comparison. The merge required validators to run a new software along with configuring the fee_recipient. The Shapella hard-fork only requires node runners to update their Consensus and Execution Layer clients.

Last week Succinct's Zk Light Client was integrated into Gnosis Chain's OmniBridge. The integration marks an important milestone on the trust-minimized roadmap for the native bridges on Gnosis Chain.
