The DappCon 2024 agenda is officially live! Gnosis Co-Founder, Martin Köppelmann will kick off the conference with an opening speech and major announcement. Taking place on May 21st to the 23rd in Berlin, Germany on the Spree River at Radialsystem, DappCon is organized into seven themed tracks; infrastructure/scalability, AI, DeFi, payments, RWAs, privacy and user adoption.

DappCon is the cherry on top of a packed week with 21 conferences and hackathons during Berlin Blockchain Week!

Ahead of DappCon, we launched the Dappnode Home x Gnosis Chain campaign, offering node runners the chance to grab a unique piece of hardware preloaded with 3 GNO. 🚀 GnosisDAO x Zeal Wallet

The GnosisDAO announced a strategic partnership with Zeal Wallet this week. Zeal is building an onchain neobank based on the Safe SDK. Alongside the strategic partnership, Gnosis is investing $2 million into Zeal. The partnership includes full Gnosis Pay and Circles support in the near future.

🌐 Gnosis Launches Genome Naming Service

Developed in collaboration with SpaceID, a Web3 domain and identity platform, and the Web3 messaging protocol dm3, Genome simplifies the process of sending and receiving transactions within the Gnosis ecosystem by converting complex wallet addresses into human-readable names.

With Genome, users can claim ownership of their names and utilize them as their Web3 passports. This service automatically synchronizes across Gnosis dApps, communities, and social networks, providing a unified identity and login for various services. Notably, Genome is fully compatible with the Ethereum Name Service (ENS), allowing users to claim two domain names simultaneously (.GNO and .gnosis.eth). These domains point to the same address, leveraging a dm3-developed smart contract to link GNO domains with ENS across all ENS-integrated dApps and Gnosis chain integrations.

✅ Erigon v3

After a year of research, development and implementation the Erigon team is close to officially releasing Erigon 3! The team believes that the update represents a quantum leap in the flexibility, compactness and performance of EVM blockchain clients.

v2.60.0, will be the last significant release based on Erigon 2. There may be v2.60.x patch releases for critical issues, but in general, all future development will be based on Erigon 3.

🌉 OmniBridge x Succinct's ZK Light Client

Succinct’s zk light client is critical to the security of Gnosis Chain’s OmniBridge. Users can trust, with a high degree of certainty, that their assets remain safe while using the Omnibridge. Succinct's zk light client augments the standard 5/7 multi-sig setup of validators for bridge security. The zk light client helps to secure over $40M TVL and >$1.5B asset flows!

🤖 Gnosis AI with Autonolas

Last week the Autonolas team joined the Gnosis AI call to demo their autonomous agents on Gnosis Chain. Autonolas is a unified network of off-chain services – like automation, oracles, and co-owned AI. Autonolas offers a composable stack for building these services, and a protocol for incentivizing their creation. As a DAO, Autonoas enables operating these services in a co-owned and decentralized way. The recording of the call is linked below!
