⚖️ GnosisDAO Invests in HOPR to Develop GnosisVPN
After the recent passage of GIP-98: Should GnosisDAO invest in HOPR to kickstart development of GnosisVPN, the GnosisDAO announced a $1.5M and 500 GNO token investment into HOPR, a decentralized and incentivized peer-to-peer mixnet open to anyone who wants to join and run a node. HOPR will pioneer the development of GnosisVPN; a fully private, censorship resistant data exchange between peers that runs on HOPR's mixnet.
With this investment, current HOPR node runners will receive 1 GNO so they can run a Gnosis Beacon Chain validator!
GnosisDAO has decided on a combined investment of US$1.5M and 500 GNO tokens in @hoprnet, a pioneer in providing fully private, uncensorable data exchange between peers, to undertake the development of the fully decentralised GnosisVPN.

🚀 EIP-7251 on Gnosis Chain
Huge news for Gnosis Chain validators - EIP-7251 is scheduled for Gnosis Chain on the next hard-fork, Electra! EIP-7251 permits large node operators to consolidate into fewer validators while also allowing solo-stakers to earn compounding rewards and stake in more flexible increments. The update simplifies operations for solo-stakers, saving them a significant amount of time and effort.
EIP-7251 (Increase the MAX_EFFECTIVE_BALANCE) has been included in the next hard-fork Electra.

Genome Domains teamed up with Blockscout to whitelist all Dappscout users on Gnosis Chain, making them eligible for .GNO names! Genome is the GNO Domain Name Service on Gnosis. DAppscout Apps Marketplace provides a curated list of apps available to onchain users. Projects can submit their project for review, and once accepted, the project is listed in the marketplace.
