  • Total Payments: The platform has now processed over 2 Million total transactions (2,042,912) historically.

🛠️ Infrastructure Upgrade: Gnosis Chain RPC Migration

We want to express our deep appreciation to Gateway.fm for their more than 3 years of service as the primary RPC provider for the ecosystem.

As part of ongoing ecosystem evolution, RPC provisioning for Gnosis Chain will transition to Tenderly. This transition is based on business decision, not technical performance.

Gateway.fm has consistently delivered high-quality and reliable infrastructure throughout the entire partnership and powered the majority of public & private RPC traffic on Gnosis Chain by supporting developers, core applications including but not limited to Gnosis Pay and Safe, tooling providers, and core teams from the earliest days of the network.

Gateway.fm scaled seamlessly as traffic expanded over the years, progressively taking on a largest percentage of total network, starting from hundreds requests per second and up to 3.500–4.000 RPS at peaks, while sustaining a strict 99.99% SLA uptime across globally distributed deployments.

Throughout this partnership, Gateway delivered:

  • Billions of requests per month across public and private RPC (10.2B+ average) including both Consensus and Execution layers
  • Low-latency performance (<22ms) on core EVM methods in key regions
  • 99.99% uptime sustained across multiple global deployments
  • Unlimited private RPC access for strategic partners, supporting heavy workloads (eth_getLogs, debug_*, batches up to 500, etc.) at no additional cost
  • A dedicated multi-region RPC stack with mixed client pools, smart routing, caching, retry logic, and automated testing pipelines
  • Deep engineering collaboration on protocol upgrades, bug reporting, experimental client deployments, ENS resolver infrastructure, bridge services, and multiple L2 research initiatives
  • A dedicated Gnosis-focused engineering team
  • Substantial validator contribution (including ~⅓ of Chiado validators and ~9% of Mainnet)

🗳️ Governance Update: Vote on GIP-144 (Blockscout Renewal)

The Gnosis community is currently voting on a crucial proposal to renew the infrastructure supporting network transparency and developer tools.

GIP-144: Should GnosisDAO support an annual renewal for Blockscout SLA and hosting: January 2026 - December 2026

  • What it is: A proposal to approve a one-year renewal of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Blockscout. Blockscout provides the ecosystem's dedicated, open-source block explorer and essential developer infrastructure.
  • Why it matters: Explorer usage has nearly doubled year-over-year, with Monthly Active Users increasing by 94%. Blockscout is critical for transaction transparency, superior contract verification (185K+ verified contracts vs. 15K on Gnosisscan), and supporting ecosystem growth.
  • Cost & Term: The proposed annual cost for hosting and maintenance for Gnosis Mainnet and Chiado Testnet is $115,200.
