🦉Gnosis Weekly Recap ~ 11 December 2024
This weeks update exemplifies Gnosis' commitment to practical utility and decentralized infrastructure. From the advancement of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) testing to Olas's milestone of 2 million autonomous agent transactions, and the launch of innovative GNO lending strategies, each development reinforces our ecosystem's focus on building sustainable, user-centric solutions. These updates showcase how Gnosis continues to prioritize robust infrastructure and technical innovation over short-term gains, creating a foundation for lasting impact in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Let's dive into this week's updates! 🚀
🦉 DVT Testing Levels Up: Phase 2 Kicks Off on Gnosis Chain!
The Gnosis Chain ecosystem is making major strides in validator technology with the launch of Phase 2 DVT (Distributed Validator Technology) testing. Following the successful completion of Phase 1 on mainnet, we're now collaborating with industry leaders @Obol_Collective, @hoprnet, @gateway_eth, @NethermindEth and @DV_Labs to push the boundaries of what's possible. The big milestone? A successful distributed key generation ceremony that marks the beginning of extensive cluster performance testing under real-world conditions.
For those new to DVT, think of it as your validator's safety net. Instead of relying on a single point of failure, DVT allows multiple validators to work together as a coordinated team. If one validator needs maintenance or faces technical issues, the others keep the operation running smoothly - meaning better uptime, enhanced security, and more consistent rewards for stakers. This Phase 2 testing is a crucial step toward making staking more reliable and accessible for everyone in the Gnosis ecosystem.
Want technical proof of our progress? Check out the successful DKG (Distributed Key Generation) ceremony logs below showing seamless peer connections and network coordination. This marks another significant milestone in our mission to enhance Gnosis Chain's staking infrastructure.
The initial results are incredibly promising, and we're continuing to monitor performance closely. Stay tuned for more updates as we push forward with this groundbreaking testing phase! 🚀
🤖 Milestone Alert: Olas Hits 2M Autonomous Agent Transactions!
The Gnosis ecosystem continues to showcase its prowess in Web3 innovation with Olas (Autonolas) achieving a remarkable milestone - 2 million autonomous agent transactions! Even more impressive, over 1 million of these were agent-to-agent transactions, demonstrating the robust infrastructure supporting AI agent interactions on Gnosis Chain.
This achievement isn't just about numbers - it's concrete proof that autonomous agents are not only functional but thriving in the Web3 space. By reaching this milestone on Gnosis Chain, Olas is pioneering the democratization of AI ownership and setting the stage for even more innovative AI applications in the Gnosis ecosystem, allowing everyone to participate in autonomous agent economies.
đź’° PWN x Karpatkey Launch New GNO Lending Strategy!
Exciting news for GNO holders! PWN, in collaboration with Karpatkey, has deployed a new lending strategy on Gnosis Chain that expands the utility of GNO tokens. This innovative feature allows users to use their GNO as collateral to obtain wstETH or WETH loans for 30-day terms. The strategy is already active with over $104,793 in available credit, marking another step forward in making DeFi lending more accessible and efficient on Gnosis Chain. As always, this is not financial advice!
🔥 💠DevConflict x Kiwi Writing Contest
Voting closes on December 12th for the DevConflict x Kiwi writing contest! Gnosis partnered with Kiwi News to launch an exciting writing contest centered around DevConflict's key debates. Writers explored critical discussions from the conference, including protocol ossification, MEV, staking models, and L1 vs L2 scaling. Prizes total 1,500 xDAI split between three winners. Submit your thoughtful analysis and perspectives at https://paragraph.xyz/@kiwi-updates/arena-devconflict-writing-contest to join the conversation and share your insights with the Ethereum community.
🌶️ The Spiciest Debate at DevConflict
Last month DevConflict kicked off in Bangkok, Thailand ahead of Devcon. DevConflict set a new standard for Ethereum events, demonstrating how structured debate and prediction markets can be combined to address complex technical and philosophical questions, ones that can't be addressed on social media. By far the spiciest debate that took place over the two event was the Vanilla vs Liquid Staking discussion between Nixo.eth from the Ethereum Foundation and Dmitriy Gusakov of Lido.
