Mandatory Erigon v3 Migration for Pectra Support
- Pectra will not be supported on Erigon v2—testing focused on Erigon v3, so upgrades are required before Pectra’s mainnet launch (~Apr 30).
- Key changes in v3:
- Requires full re-sync (v2 data incompatible).
- New
--prune.mode(archive/full/minimal). - Embedded beacon node (Caplin) enabled by default; use
--externalclfor external CL clients. - Ottersync snapshots for faster sync.
- 16GB RAM minimum (64GB recommended).

Our community gathered on March 27th for the first Gnosis meetup of 2025 at Full Node, Europe’s largest co-working space for web 3.0 technology. The educational event brought together developers, researchers, and blockchain enthusiasts for insightful presentations and networking.
Highlights included:
